It is essential to protect what's yours from prying eyes. There's a reason we lock our doors, refrain from sharing all of our accomplishments, and wear the evil eye. We've got to protect what's ours, even if it might be seen as "unfriendly" or "gatekeepy" by others. Some things are just meant to be gatekept.

These memes don't need to be gatekept, perse. I wouldn't mind if you sent them to literally every living soul you know, even a few dead ones, just for good measure. I believe that memes as precious and beautiful as these shouldn't be forgotten and clicked away from, never to be seen again. They deserve to be treasured for years as if they were an exorbitantly expensive family heirloom that your aunt would slap you for breaking.
